Z.M.Y.O is one of the most best placed organisation to tackle the HIV\/AIDS challenge since the youths are the most affected generation and Muslims are not an exception. Z.M.Y.O is using the following approaches to tackle this issue. The approaches are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zimbabwe Muslim Youth Organisation has embarked on a drive to fully educate our communities on health issues through health awareness programs and seminars which are aimed at creating a diseases free community. We have working with different international stakeholders on health seminars like FIMA. Locally we have managed to build bridges with other local stakeholders like the Southern Africa Alcohol Policy Alliance (SAAPA and YAD) that deal with drug and alcohol abuse in Zimbabwe in which ZMYO is an active member advocating for an alcohol and drug free society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zimbabwe Muslim Youth Organisation always extends its wings to the people by continuously striving towards creating a safe space for Youths and the Muslim community in Zimbabwe, we are always on the forefront when it comes to reaching out to the young people and general Muslim populace. It is through these social outreach programs like cleanup campaigns, Health awareness, drug and alcohol abuse awareness campaign that cement our relationship with our communities thereby creating a generation of youths that will continuously strive to the wellbeing of the Muslim community and upliftment of Islam.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
